Vintage Technics by Panasonic SA-5270 FM/AM Stereo Receiver, made in Japan. Classic silver-face receiver with simulated wood cabinet, analog tuning dial, illuminated meters, and phono/AUX/tape inputs.
The receiver powers on and presents well cosmetically, but has a known left-channel problem and is being sold AS-IS for repair, restoration, or parts.
Condition / Known Issues
- Powers on; dial and indicator lights illuminate.
- FM/AM tuner works, but tuning is scratchy.
- Left speaker channel does not work.
- Speaker protection fuses were swapped/tested; left channel remained inoperative.
- No further diagnosis or internal repairs have been attempted.
- Faceplate presents well with normal age-related wear.
- Simulated wood cabinet has scratches, scuffs, edge wear, and other cosmetic wear consistent with age. See photos.
- Additional functions have not been fully tested.
